BLEPHAROPLASTY

It is a surgery that aims to rejuvenate the eyelids: upper, lower or both by removing skin and fat, achieving a more jovial appearance. There is also a visual benefit, since over time the eyelids tend to fall causinf lack of vision. It is an ambulatory or short-stay surgery, is performed under local anesthesia plus sedation, lasts about 2 hours. After surgery, there is moderate inflammation, in 4 days the stitches are removed and around 10 days the patient can return to their daily activities avoiding direct exposure to the sun and without lifting heavy objects.
